Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can you go overboard and take “too” much care of a new tattoo?

A: Yes, you can. Excessive washing or even overdoing it on the cream can cause more harm than good. When applying cream, don’t smother it, we recommend a fingernail size amount of balm, just a light layer to cover the surface area

Q: Does the tattoo feel dry during the day?

A: Re-apply Underdog Tattooing Balm. Before you do, always wash your hands.

Q: The balm has gone liquid, what should I do?

A: Underdog Tattooing Balm is an oil-based balm so it can liquified in hot conditions; this is normal and nothing to worry about; simply put the jar in the fridge for 30 mins to an hour and it will return to its normal condition. This won’t affect the balm
